| |
Petplan Equine has specialised
in offering quality horse insurance for the past 15
years but we also recognise the need for riders to
protect themselves against the risks involved with
riding, even if they don't own a horse.
They offer different cover plans for under 18 riders
and over 18 riders.

| Rider plan offers you: |

A choice of
personal accident cover for riders aged 5 to 75
years old |

|
Payment of
up to £50 for every 24 hours you stay in
hospital |
|
|
Tuition fees for riders
aged under 18 years if they cannot attend classes
because of a riding injury |

Emergency vet's fees up
to £1,500 for the horse being ridden |
|
|
Cover for your riding equipment
if it is lost or damaged |

|
Personal Accident
To
cover you against death or injury (from 5 to 75
years inclusive) as a result of an accident
while you are riding. |

Death
petplan will
pay up to £5,000. |
|
|
Permanent Disability
including:
blindness in one or both eyes; deafness in both
ears; loss of one or both hands or arms, loss of
one or both feet or legs. Petplan will pay up to £10,000. |
|
|
Permanent Total Disability
If
as a result of the accident you will never be able
to carry out any type of work, Petplan will pay
up to £10,000. |

|
Tuition Fees
If you cannot attend
your usual place of education as a full-time student
because of your injury we will pay for the cost
of a private tutor. Petplan will pay up to £2,500. |
|
Dental Treatment
up to £150 |
|
Hospital benefit
For each 24 hours
you are in hospital, Petplan will pay up to £25. |
|
Riding Equipment
If your riding
equipment or your tack is lost, stolen, damaged
or destroyed while you are riding or travelling
to or from the place your are riding, Petplan will
pay up to £250. |

Emergency Vets fees
If a horse
you are riding is accidentally injured and needs
immediate treatment, Petplan will pay up to £500. |
|
Third Party Liability
If property
is damaged, or someone is killed, injured or falls
ill as a result of an incident while you are riding
and you are legally responsible, Petplan will pay
up to £1,000,000. |
|
Custodial Liability
If a horse
you are riding is injured or dies, or if a horse
drawn vehicle you are using is damaged, and you
are legally responsible, Petplan will pay up to £1,000. |

| Annual Premium for each rider/driver is £36. |

| All premiums include Insurance Premium Tax. |
