DETAILS OF COVER
Basic cover is mandatory - you may then select from the
list of optional benefits: |

Basic Cover
|

Death and Loss by Theft
or Straying
Pays up to the sum insured (or market value
if less) following loss by death or humane destruction
following an injury or by theft or straying -
WILL PAY UP YO £1,500. |
|
|
Third Party Liability
Pays up to the maximum benefit of £1M
(£3M and £5M available on request)
towards legal costs and compensation in the event
that you are found legally liable for an accident,
injury or death to a third party or damage to
their property involving the insured horse. The
first £100 of claims for property damage
is payable by the policyholder. |

|
Personal Accident and Dental (Standard)
Pays up to the maximum benefit (£10,000)
following death or permanent disability to the
rider or handler of the insured horse. This also
covers up to £1000 towards dental treatment
for the rider or handler. |

|
Saddlery and Tack
Pays towards the cost of repair or replacement
of lost or damaged saddlery and tack. The first £100
of each claim is payable by the policyholder.

Disposal
Pays towards the cost of disposal following death
or humane destruction of the insured animal - UP
TO £150. |

Vet's fees
Pays towards the cost of treatment for injury
including alternative treatment as recommended
by the attending vet. The first £110 of each
unrelated claim is payable by the policyholder.

Personal Accident and Dental (Superior)
As Standard plus cover for temporary disability
and hospital benefit - WILL PAY UP TO £20,000
+ £1,000 |

Trailer/Horse-drawn vehicle
Pays for the cost of repair to your trailer or
horse-drawn vehicle, or up to the sum insured (or
market value if less) if it is lost, stolen, or
destroyed, or the cost of repair is more than it
was worth before it was damaged. The first £100
of each claim is payable by THE POLICY HOLDER. |
